Jennifer Lopez Has Been Having the ‘Time of Her Life’ Since Her Divorce from Ben Affleck

A source recently told People that she’s been “having the time of her life this summer” while on her international Up All Night Tour, which kicked off on July 8 in Spain and wrapped on August 12 in Italy.
“She loved connecting with fans all over the world,” the source added. “The tour was amazing. It’s been a great focus for her. She’s been doing what she really enjoys.”
Lopez performing in Istanbul on August 5.
On August 12, Lopez reflected on the tour. “This was the most beautiful, happy, and free summer…and my only wish is that you feel as joyful as you made me feel every night,” she wrote on Instagram.
Lopez also has a packed year ahead. Her upcoming musical film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, will hit theaters on October 10. Affleck and Matt Damon also serve as executive producers on the project.
“This is the movie she filmed last year in New York when she and Ben were going through a difficult time,” the source said. “She’s come a long way since. She’s very happy and just grateful for her life.”
In a January 2025 interview with Variety, Lopez spoke about how much she’s always wanted to star in a musical. “I was waiting my whole life to be able to do a real big MGM Hollywood musical, and I finally got to do it,” she said.
She continued, “I got into movies because of West Side Story. I thought I was going to do Broadway. I wanted to do musicals. I love musicals. My kids love musicals. My mother did. It was a dream fulfilled in having done the movie.”
Lopez officially filed for divorce from Affleck in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Aug. 20, 2024, two years after their Georgia wedding ceremony.
