"That Thing with Feathers" by Guadalajara-born author Zaira Moreno is being offered through the city's cultural centers for active reading, asking the public to think about their lifeline. Credit: Courtesy.

Zaira has renewed the paper several times and has photographically recorded what people leave behind with their drawings: their dogs, music, art, being with their friends, playing video games. Credit: Courtesy.

The posters can still be found in spaces such as Casa Quinqué, Ortográfika, the Carmen Balcells Ibero-American Literature Documentation Center, and the Colonia Atlas Cultural Center. Credit: Courtesy.
Zaira Eva Nayeli Moreno (Guadalajara, 1997) wrote an essay this year that describes how difficult the first part of her 2025 was and how in times of uncertainty and radical changes, sometimes small, everyday things can become lifelines during the crisis.
