Storm with hurricane-force winds caused damage in Rivadavia and Junín: a school could not start classes
It occurred between Sunday afternoon and midnight throughout the East and the most severe damage was caused by hurricane-force winds in Rivadavia.
A strong storm , which had the special characteristic of very intense gusts of wind, hit the eastern zone on Sunday night.
Although the phenomenon spread across a wide area of the region, the most affected sector was a strip of the department of Rivadavia and one of the borders of Junín .
A tree fell and was left lying on the 1-030 Isaac Melchor Chavarría school in Medrano, and classes could not begin this morning.

The Medrano district, shared by the two municipalities, was one of the most damaged by the hurricane-force winds, which caused trees, branches, power lines to fall and roofs to be blown off . There was also rain and hail. In addition, the storm affected some parts of the old area of the La Reducción district .
Damage is being assessed this morning as streets and roads are being cleared.
