According to CAMEN, Mendoza has a unique opportunity: the world needs an energy transition, and this change in the energy mix requires more minerals like copper. The province's geological potential, along with Mendoza's significant human, business, and academic resources, represent a strategic and distinctive strength for developing a modern, sustainable, and competitive mining industry at the national level with global relevance.
The Chamber reaffirmed its strategic vision, focusing on local development, supplier strengthening, technical training, and environmental commitment. Its agenda highlights the role of mining as an additional driver of the province's diversified economy, generating employment, infrastructure, and regional growth, while encouraging the development of agreements with communities and respect for the environment.
"We are celebrating 22 years of existence, convinced that mining can and should be part of a Mendoza that grows with standards, inclusion, knowledge, and responsibility," stated the Board of Directors. CAMEM invited all economic, academic, and social stakeholders to be part of this new phase: a phase of consensus, professionalism, and commitment to the province's future.
