The program was presented at the Valle Multidisciplinary Center, where the first of three clinics comprising this new municipal health network was also inaugurated. The other two are located at the Municipal DIF (District of the Municipality) and in Los Cántaros.
"Today we launch the most important social program of this administration, with the sole purpose of helping and supporting those least fortunate," said Gerardo Quirino, who acknowledged the Municipal DIF's commitment to making this initiative a reality.
Gerardo Quirino explained that each registered family will receive a personalized card covering the holder and up to five direct dependents, including children, people with disabilities, and seniors. This card, valid for one year and with the option to renew, It will allow access to unlimited general, dental, and vision consultations, as well as two pairs of glasses per year, six annual clinical or gynecological examinations, and up to three basic prescription medications per month, all free of charge.
During the event, Bianca Sunderman, president of DIF Tlajomulco, highlighted the program's inclusive and humane approach, which she said represents a firm step toward guaranteeing the right to health for those who need it most: "We believe that no one should be left without medical care due to a lack of resources. In each of our clinics—at DIF Cabecera, at the Centro Multidisciplinario del Valle, and in Cántaros—we will offer quality medical services with human warmth. The doors are open. I invite you to come, to experience it, to share it. Because at DIF Tlajo, the driving force behind us is action, and closeness makes us stronger. Welcome to your health clinics, Cerca de Ti. Thank you very much," concluded the president of the healthcare organization.
Priscilla Franco Barba acknowledged the program's impact and reiterated the state government's support for this type of public policy that puts people at the center: "We need social programs that respond to people's needs, and we're not going to let go."

"It's excellent. We're going to have a benefit. It's a great help for everyone in Tlajomulco. I had Social Security, but it was very far away and you have to get up early. This clinic is closer and it's free. I live in Chulavista and I had to go to the Glorieta del Álamo so I had to get up early to be seen and here the multidisciplinary center is 20 minutes from my house," said Patricia Torres Haro.

"I think it's very important because sometimes you don't have the money to take your children to the doctor when they get sick, and I think this opportunity they're giving us is great," he said.
The woman previously had Popular Insurance but lost that support, so this new service will be very helpful.
"I like it because sometimes we need attention for one thing or another, but it did benefit me," said Mayra Cervantes López.

Cindy Gómez Galván is a caregiver mother who lives in the Los Eucaliptos neighborhood and will have a clinic in Tlajomulco Centro, 10 minutes away.
" As a caring mother, this has been a need we have had for many years, so now having a healthcare system for us and it being completely free marks a very significant change for us because we will have access to general consultations, dental care, opticians and medicine." he commented.
"This means a lot because even my son will be insured," added this mother, who cares for a son with autism, epilepsy, and Heller syndrome.
