Zverev admits depression

Depression can manifest at any stage of life in any human being, regardless of each individual's conditions or characteristics. Depression can appear suddenly and very powerfully.
Sometimes for no apparent reason, depression can creep into a person's mind to the point where A sadness invades his lifestyle , leading him to episodes full of emptiness and frustration, accompanied by varied emotions.
Depression does not distinguish and does not discriminate either.
German Alexander Zverev explained the depression he is going through and said he feels "alone in life" at this time.
The German, the third-best player in the world, was eliminated in the first round of Wimbledon on Tuesday against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech, world number 72.
When explaining the surprising defeat, Zverev stressed that it is a problem more mental that of tennis.
"I feel alone out there sometimes. I'm having a hard time mentally. I've been saying that for a while since the Australian Open. I'm trying to find ways to get out of this hole, but I can't seem to, " the German commented at a press conference.
"I don't know, in general I feel alone in life , which is not pretty," he added.
Zverev said he may try the therapy for the first time in his life.

No joy in what I do. It's not something tennis-related, I just don't find joy outside of tennis either. I lost in the first round, but I don't think tennis is the problem right now. It's something else I have to solve. It's hard to talk about because I don't have an answer. I have a month until Canada, we'll see what happens until then, but something in me has to change, and it's not necessarily something on the tennis court."
