Live music and stories with Anya Damirón
This Sunday, April 27, the stage of the Casa San Pablo auditorium will be filled with fantasy, music , and color with the return of one of the most anticipated family shows: "El Cuentacuentos Sinfónico " by Anya Damirón .
With two new stories , special guests , and a multidisciplinary production that combines literature, music , illustration, and theater, this experience promises to leave a lasting impression on children and adults alike.
The Dominican writer and storyteller returns to the stage with an event that is much more than a storytelling performance: a grand celebration of the art of storytelling , wrapped in a symphony of emotions.
With two performances, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the show will feature 60 live musicians directed by Luichy Guzmán, a giant screen with animated illustrations , dancers, guest actors, and interactive experiences that will turn this day into a true celebration for the whole family.
"The Symphonic Storytelling is a dream come true. It gives us the opportunity to tell stories in the most majestic way possible so that families can have an incredible storytelling experience," Anya explains.
"It's wonderful to be able to enjoy live music played by a great orchestra alongside talented friends who accompany me as the voices of the characters."
One of the show's key features is its immersive nature. In addition to the narrative and music , the audience will enjoy a sensory experience that includes moving illustrations created by Argentine artists Pablo Pino and Héctor Borlasca, who will travel specifically to share their experiences with Dominican families.
"It's extremely important to me that illustrators can come and share. They're brilliant artists who rarely have the opportunity to participate so far in the celebration of their titles," explains Anya, who values this connection between creators and readers .
Guests- Among the 15 special guests are names such as José Guillermo Cortines, Laura Rivera, Estefany Piña, Pepe Sierra, Lauren Molina, Raeldo López, Juan Luis Espinal and Laura Leclerc , who will lend their talent to a show whose coordination is not an easy task, but for Anya, the key is in teamwork.
"I have the support of a great team that helps everything flow and allows us to enjoy the process, which is very important to me."
And as if the event itself weren't enough, the event will extend beyond the auditorium with an interactive area featuring a book signing, a food court, experiences with partner brands, and many more surprises.

This edition will feature five stories: "Tuntún," "SuperNiños," "Cosquillas de Lluvia," and two new stories: "Detente!" and "Morsa." Both bear Damirón's signature touch: humor, tenderness, and a powerful message.
"Both stories are very entertaining and have positive messages. Detente promotes teamwork and collaboration with a story that takes place in a traffic jam, which is only resolved when everyone participates. And Morsa reminds us that good and positive things are also contagious."
