Abinader will meet with heads of state next week.

President Luis Abinader will meet next week with the heads of state of France , Emmanuel Macron, and Brazil , Ignacio Lula da Silva, as part of a series of international engagements. He will also receive recognition during a meeting of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
Abinader will travel to Nice, France , this Saturday to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on the Ocean, which will be held from June 8 to 10.
As part of this event, the president will hold a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, scheduled for next Monday, June 9 , at 3:55 p.m., at the Palais des Rois Sardes in Nice.
Later, on Wednesday, June 12 , Abinader will arrive in Geneva, where he will be the first Dominican president invited by the ILO to participate in its event at the Palais des Nations.
Within the framework of the High-Level Meeting of the Global Coalition for Social Justice, he will be the guest speaker , in recognition of his outstanding support for strengthening the tripartite system, workers, and social justice, according to a statement from the Presidency.
"At the ILO, she will receive recognition from Dominican trade union federations , accompanied by union leaders from other countries, for her efforts to ensure that Dominican workers receive decent wages, even exceeding the basic food basket," the press release states.
During his stay in Geneva, President Abinader will hold bilateral meetings with important figures.
Having concluded his agenda in Geneva, the Dominican president travels to Brasilia on June 12 to participate, at the invitation of President Lula Da Silva, in the Brazil -Caribbean Summit on June 13-14.
President Abinader's return , who will be accompanied by a small entourage during these events, is scheduled for June 15 .
