The data from the official Misiones election website doesn't add up: the total percentages came to 102.59%.

In a turbulent vote count that took longer than expected, this Sunday the official website where the election results in Misiones were published published some rather striking data, among which the total vote percentages stood out, giving a figure greater than 100% .
The first problem arose at 9:00 PM, the time the first data was expected to appear. However, that first result took a long time to appear, and by 9:40 PM, most visitors were still having trouble accessing the site. Complaints were mounting on social media.
However, the most striking aspect of the website where the official data was published was the percentage of votes received by each party. According to the official data published on the website as updated at 9:29 p.m., the total was 102.59%.
According to the official count, at that time the Frente Renovador de la Concordia (Renewal Front for Concord) had 70,434 votes (32.43%); La Libertad Avanza (Freedom Advances) was second with 42,897 (19.75%). They were followed by the Agrarian and Social Party (Agrarian and Social) with 27,948 (12.87%), the For Life and Values Party (Por la Vida y los Valores) with 27,781 (12.79%), and the Libertarian Party (Libertarian Party) with 14,782 (6.80%).
Further back in the table appeared the United Front for the Future with 12,782 votes (5.88% of the electoral roll), Land Roof and Work with 8,849 (4.07%) and, surprisingly, the Workers' Party, which with 3,083 votes, that is, half of the one that preceded it in the table, also appeared with 4.07% of the votes .
Although almost at the bottom of the table, the percentage of votes for the party headed by Aníbal “Tato” Zeretzki appears to have double the percentage of votes of other parties that it surpasses by less than 1,000 votes, such as the Positive Movement (2,816) or the Democratic Party (2,361).
Many decimals and the matches appeared out of order
Clarín calculated the actual percentage of the vote for the Workers' Party, which amounts to 1.42%, less than half of what the official website published.
To add to the confusion, the numbers displayed on the website included a large number of decimal places.
At 10:49 p.m., they posted an update. The numbers still didn't add up.
Adding to the mismatched percentages was another problem: the slow loading of results . The first numbers, expected at 9:00 PM, arrived after 9:40 PM. They were stuck for at least an hour.
The data update arrived at 10:49 PM , although the numbers still didn't add up. For one thing, half of the percentages assigned to the parties appeared with only one decimal place. The rest had between 7 and 10. And, although the figures were adjusted, the total was still above the maximum: 100.37% .
From 9:40 p.m. to 10:40 p.m., participation increased by 4%.
And another confusing fact was added: the participation rate, which went from the initial 50% to 54%.
Around 10:50 p.m., a new update was published, indicating that 60% of the electoral roll had been counted. Although the numbers were close this time, the count was now below 100. The total was 99.7%.
The 11:50 p.m. update still did not add up to 100%.
