After the elimination, Rayados de Monterrey dismisses Martín Demichelis
Argentine Martín Demichelis has stepped down as coach of Rayados de Monterrey, who were eliminated yesterday by Toluca in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Clausura tournament in Mexico.
On social media, the team announced the Argentine's departure, thanking him for his work , which he took over last August.

However, the tournaments without a championship exhausted the patience of many Monterrey fans , who made their calls for the coach's dismissal trend on social media.
Many recalled that Mexican Víctor Manuel Vucetich was fired despite having much better numbers than the Argentine.
