Dramatic Yucatecan success at the U-7 Femebe National Championship

Bruno Díaz delivered the home run that left Yucatán 15-14 to defeat Coahuila, staying alive in the U-7 National Championship (born in 2018) in the Liga Centro of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
With the score tied, José Isaías Nahuat started the inning with a single, then Yadier Chan got the first out, but then Bruno came along with the hit that drove in the go-ahead run.
Leonardo Estrada and Javier Villaseñor, with three hits, were the most notable offensive players for the team led by Carlos Moreno and Fernando Tamayo.
With this result, Yucatán moves into third place in Group B with a 3-2 record, behind Tijuana Municipal (5-0) and Sinaloa (4-1). Today, the Yucatecan team will face Sonora (2-3) at 12:30 p.m. in the San Jerónimo Little League.
In the U-5 division (born in 2020), Yucatán lost to Nuevo León at the Jerónimo Stadium, improving its record to 2-3. It now faces Coahuila.
In Mexicali, Baja California, Yucatán was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the U-9 National (born in 2016), after being defeated by Sonora.
