Juan Manuel Cerúndolo struck a blow and is a finalist in Gstaad

Juan Manuel Cerúndolo defeated Peruvian Ignacio Buse 6-3, 6-3 on Saturday in one hour and 22 minutes of play, advancing to the final of the ATP 250 in Gstaad, Switzerland. The clay court event will feature €596,035 in prize money.
The Buenos Aires native, who is ranked 109th in the ATP rankings but will re-enter the top 100 on Monday, was extremely solid throughout the match against Buse, who is ranked 167th in the world and advanced to the main draw of the tournament after having gone through qualifying.

In this tournament, Cerúndolo had defeated German Jan-Lennard Struff (129th) in the first round and Belgian David Goffin (68th) in the round of 16. In the quarterfinals, he had made a huge splash by beating Norwegian Casper Ruud, ranked 13th and the tournament's top seed, in three sets.
In the decisive match, the Argentine will face the winner of the second semi-final on Sunday, which will feature Frenchman Arthur Cazaux (116th) and Kazakh Alexander Bublik (34th).
