Soccer. The AFA confirmed the Clausura fixture list.
With two groups, dubbed "A" and "B," each consisting of 15 teams, the Clausura promises balanced excitement and a schedule packed with decisive matches. Organized in a single round of matches under a "round-robin" format, this first stage will include a total of 16 matchdays.
ZONE A: Aldosivi, Argentinos Juniors, Banfield, Barracas Central, Belgrano, Boca Juniors, Central Cordoba, Defense and Justice, Students of La Plata, Hurricane, Independent Rivadavia, Newell's, Racing, Tigre, Union.
ZONE B: Atletico Tucuman, Deportivo Riestra, Gymnastics and Fencing La Plata, Godoy Cruz, Independent, Institute, Lanus, Platense, River, Rosario Central, San Martin (SJ), San Lorenzo, Sarmiento, Workshops, Velez.
The tournament will have the same schedule as last year's Apertura, but the home teams will be reversed. Aldosivi and Central Córdoba will kick off next Friday at 3:30 PM in Mar del Plata, while San Lorenzo will take to the field that same day at 8 PM against Talleres in Córdoba.
The following day, Saturday the 12th, Racing will close the day against Barracas Central at the Cilindro (8:45 PM), and Sunday the 13th will be a day of super action: Independiente will visit Junín to face Sarmiento (2:15 PM), Boca will face Argentinos in La Paternal (6:45 PM), and River will host Platense in Núñez (9:00 PM). The day will conclude on Monday with Unión-Estudiantes in Santa Fe (9:15 PM).
In addition, the most important classics will take place in the following rounds in chronological order: Platense vs. Argentinos (matchday 3), Rosario Central vs. Newell's (matchday 6), San Lorenzo vs. Huracán (matchday 7), Racing vs. Independiente (matchday 10), Talleres vs. Belgrano (matchday 11), Estudiantes vs. Gimnasia (matchday 13), Godoy Cruz vs. San Martín de San Juan (matchday 14), Banfield vs. Lanús (matchday 14) and Boca Juniors vs. River Plate (matchday 15).
