The Prosecutor's Office is requesting two and a half years in prison for Asencio for the distribution of a sex video.

The Prosecutor's Office is seeking two and a half years in prison for Real Madrid player Raúl Asencio for two crimes against privacy, according to information released Friday night by Cadena SER. The prosecution, for its part, is seeking four years in prison.

The defender allegedly participated in the dissemination of two videos with sexual content featuring two girls, one of whom was a minor at the time of the recording, without their consent, and they reported the incident.

The prosecution's indictment makes it clear that Asencio did not participate in the scene or record the videos, although he allegedly stored the video and showed it to a friend when the latter was the partner of one of the victims.

Asencio's defense team attempted to reach an agreement with the plaintiffs to avoid a prison sentence, although the prosecution has now ruled out that possibility.

For Ferran Ruiz, a Girona reserve team player who participated in the events, the prosecution is requesting four years and seven months in prison.

The events date back to June 2023, when Ferran Ruiz (now a Girona reserve team player), Juan Rodríguez (without a team) and Andrés García (Alcorcón) participated in a group sexual act with the two victims.

The young men, for whom the Prosecutor's Office is seeking four years and seven months in prison, recorded several videos and took photographs of the incident without the girls' permission. When the girls became aware of the incident, they requested its deletion, which was not done.

The Prosecutor's Office accuses them of the same two crimes against privacy, in addition to distributing child pornography, since one of the victims was 16 years old.
