These are the missing details for Domènec Torrent to become Chivas' new technical director.

Spanish coach Domènec Torrent is getting closer to becoming Chivas' new manager. Following his meeting with the Guadalajara board, talks between the two parties are at an advanced stage , but some details remain to be agreed upon before his arrival is made official.
Sources close to EL INFORMADOR have confirmed that talks between Guadalajara management and the Catalan coach are on track . The former Atlético de San Luis manager has made new requests, which, until agreed upon, could prevent him from joining Chivas.
After holding remote talks, Guadalajara's board spoke personally with the Spanish coach this week. Both parties are interested in reaching an agreement, prompting new requests from the coach regarding his arrival to the team, among which securing reinforcements will be a priority. Torrent has asked the board to add two players to their ranks , a situation that has not allowed for a deal to close.
As if that weren't enough, another of the requests made by Josep Guardiola's former technical assistant is for more elements for his team, both in the coaching staff and in the Sports Intelligence department .
Domènec Torrent is clear that, to achieve results, he will need to add players to Guadalajara's ranks as part of his project. Chivas' management is working to give him what the coach requests, aiming for him to be part of the team before the start of preseason training.
Torrent has been known for promoting the careers of various players during his time at Atlético de San Luis, such as youth player Eduardo Águila and former Chivas player Oscar Macías, who were key elements of the team he led to the semifinals in the 2024 Apertura Tournament.
Currently, a pre-agreement is in place , so the only issue keeping the Spanish coach from becoming Guadalajara's manager is the reinforcements. The next few days will be crucial for the red-and-white team to find a new coach.
