In the fifth matchday of the 2025 Copa Libertadores group stage, Central Córdoba defeated Deportivo Táchira 2-1 away. The Santiago team achieved an excellent victory in Venezuela and is on the verge of reaching the round of 16.

Briefly analyzing the match, Jonathan Galván scored the opening goal in the first half . Central Córdoba started the better side. To top it all off, the referee sent off a Táchira player in the 12th minute. Thus, Ferroviario always looked comfortable in the match.
