Epic Universe: Technological advances at Universal Orlando's new park, with dual-launch roller coasters, Super Nintendo games, and Harry Potter and Frankenstein simulators.

A white owl perched on her shoulder , a wand poised , and a glass of Butterbeer in her hand. She offers her two friends the sweet Harry Potter elixir, shakes her Time-Turner -shaped golden hoop earrings , and waves her Gryffindor house robes before stepping onto the Paris Métro-Floo .
There, the three will be enveloped by the green flames of this means of transport inspired by the Floo network from the films and will appear at the British Ministry of Magic, just before the trial of the evil Dolores Umbridge and fly in an elevator to help Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is Universal Orlando Resort's most technologically advanced attraction yet.
And everyone talks about the size of the Ministry, the waits worth it, the details in Umbridge's office.
This ride is located within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, one of five themed areas in the brand new Epic Universe park in Orlando.
In the state of Florida , United States , Universal has 11 hotels, the CityWalk shopping and entertainment promenade and three other parks: Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and the Universal Volcano Bay water park.

But for years, Universal Orlando Resort has been announcing the grand opening of its fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, which officially opened on May 22 to the general public, after a soft opening and a Grand Opening for the press and guests that included characters and artists at each of the gates, a shower of confetti and fireworks.
According to the company, it is “one of the most innovative and immersive theme parks ever created,” transporting visitors to five imaginative worlds full of adventures: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk and Dark Universe .
“Epic Universe is the culmination of nearly a decade of work. Our teams have poured so much passion, vision, and dedication into this new park, and there's nothing else like it in our universe,” said Karen Irwin, president and chief operating officer of Universal Orlando Resort.

Celebrities, film talent, key partners and other special guests walked the blue carpet at the opening night party, enjoyed food islands throughout the park, and listened to narration from Steven Spielberg, Creative Consultant for Universal Destinations and Experiences, as illuminated fountains and gateways lit up, accompanied by immersive world soundtracks, a stunning drone display and fireworks.
Thus, the portals to the five fantastical worlds were unlocked by May 22 , and visitors began to be transported to these expansive universes that combine more than 50 experiences, restaurants and shops.

Celestial Park is the heart of Epic Universe. With fountains, gardens, and walking paths, this area connects the other four, offering restaurants, shops, three attractions, and the new Helios Hotel.
Because the Loews-backed Universal Helios Grand Hotel is located inside Epic and offers 500 Mediterranean-inspired rooms and How to Train Your Dragon-themed kids' suites.

With a wide variety of dining options, a pool with cabanas, and a rooftop bar overlooking the park, the hotel has an exclusive entrance for its guests (valid Epic admission is required, of course), and benefits like early entry and a complimentary shuttle bus to Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios Florida.
Dominating the landscape is the Constellation Carousel , a giant, colorful merry-go-round for kids and adults alike, where celestial lions, dragons, and bears can ride as the carousel glides forward, backward, and even rotates 360 degrees in a dance of music and light.

Facing the dancing waters in the Astronomical Zone, the Atlantic restaurant excels at seafood, the Asian restaurant The Blue Dragon serves dinners under the constellations, and The Oak & Star Tavern offers tasty barbecue.
These are some of the 15 establishments in this central sector, where you can hear ice falling and soda being poured into refillable glasses (which can be filled to an unlimited amount) at all hours.
For those who enjoy the vertigo and speed of roller coasters, you can board Stardust Racers , the longest at Universal Orlando. Measuring nearly 1,500 meters and featuring a double-launch structure, two trains simulate a race at nearly 100 km/h, passing each other at various points.

A couple lines up to ride the Curse of the Werewolf roller coaster in the Dark Universe area.
As they turn and descend through the forest while escaping the wolves, they leave their backpacks in the lockers : they no longer need codes or padlocks to store their belongings because, as the company says, “the technological redefinition encompasses both attractions and security, including a locker system with facial recognition.”

Dressed as vampires and werewolves at the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience , they present their documents to prove they are of legal age before ordering a beer at the Burning Blade Tavern , a tavern with a windmill with its blades on fire.
Everything in Dark Universe alludes to the supernatural legends of Dracula, the Wolfman, Frankenstein and his Bride, who come to life alongside a new generation of monsters.
But perhaps the most terrifying is Frankenstein Castle, with its mobile simulator Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.

What's it about? Visitors (height requirement: 122 cm) find Victoria Frankenstein's demonstration goes awry when Dracula leads a revolt of the Wolf Man, the Mummy, and other creatures. The experience will be unforgettable, as the figures animated with innovative technology are terrifyingly realistic.
After passing through the dark portal that warns “It's alive! It's alive!” , the village of Darkmoor expands gray and devastated, dominated by the cemetery, the catacombs, and the residents everyone wants to take pictures with: Frankenstein, Dr. Victoria, and the Invisible Man.
The sweltering May heat in Epic Universe is a great way to embark on Fyre Drill , an interactive water battle with twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut, fire-breathing dragons with water-shooting cannons.

It all takes place in the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk area, inspired by the beloved films.
Kids in furs, Viking boots and dragon-wing backpacks get wet on this adventure, and dry off flying on the family roller coaster, Hiccup's Wing Gliders , or practicing acrobatic maneuvers and high-speed spins in dragon trainers that reach heights of up to 20 meters on Dragon Racer's Rally .

The live show The Untrainable Dragon, featuring the characters Hiccup, Toothless, and Astrid, is well worth a visit. It offers no shortage of surprises: at almost 8 meters, Toothless flies above the audience.
In this town filled with Vikings and rambunctious dragons, visitors are savoring Mac & Cheese cones at Holligan's Grog & Gruel when, just a few feet away, a sign announces a 45-minute wait in the sun to meet Hiccup and pose for a photo with the local favorite, Toothless. Because as the area's sign says: "We, my friends, have dragons!"

The smell of bananas intensifies as the line moves forward and you approach the counter of The Bubbly Barrel , the ice cream stand inside the section of the park dedicated to the iconic video games: Super Nintendo World .
For $18.99, thanks to social media, everyone can buy a Dr. Crush Float with a barrel-shaped mug and the initials of the famous gorilla Donkey Kong. It's the first Donkey Kong Country in the United States, where the Mine-Cart Madness roller coaster is also featured.

It has a straw and a spoon because it consists of a tulip-shaped cone filled with banana ice cream with caramelized popcorn, floating on a glass of pineapple soda.
With video game music playing constantly, the kids leap into action in this world bursting with color and excitement.

There are options to join Mario's team to battle Bowser's team for the Gold Cup in the 4D mobile simulator Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge ; travel through the landscapes of the Mushroom Kingdom in Yoshi's Adventure ; meet Donkey Kong and say hello to Mario, Luigi, Toadstool, and Princess Peach.
Meanwhile, among carnivorous plants and the princess's castle, visitors purchase the Power-Up Band to collect digital coins and stamps while participating in interactive and fun activities.

“Wands at the ready! A world of fantastic beasts and magical creatures awaits! The mystical world of Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic is just beyond this portal! Join us on your next epic adventure!”
During the opening, actors James and Oliver Phelps (better known as the Weasley twins) walk through the portal of the must-see area of Epic: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic , with the motto “For in dreams we enter a world that is all our own.”

Like Hogwarts Castle in Hogsmeade (Harry Potter's pioneer area at Islands of Adventure) and Gringotts Bank in Diagon Alley (Universal Studios Florida), both connected by the Hogwarts Express, the third installment of the Wizarding World at Universal Studios Florida exceeds expectations.
Set in magical 1920s Paris and inspired by the Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry of Magic in the Harry Potter series, you can cast spells in the shop windows of Place Cachée with a new generation of interactive wands designed by Cosme Acajor, sold at Baguettes Magique . They can be used in all three of Universal's Wizarding Worlds.

There's live music, candy and uniform shops, and of course, several restaurants, such as Café L'Air De La Sirène, which serves a signature Butterbeer crepe.
A large red circus tent houses the live show Le Cirque Arcanus , featuring performers, stunning puppets, special effects, and a few surprises. A full-scale theatrical experience.

The beginning and end of your visit to Epic Universe come together as we return to the jewel of the park: Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry .
This is an unforgettable adventure inside the British Ministry of Magic, aboard a magical elevator (minimum height: 102 cm), which moves in all directions through the Magical Archives, the imposing Library, the Department of Magical Creatures and the Room of Time.
While dodging Death Eater attacks, we embark on a chase after Dolores Umbridge, who is trying to escape her trial.

But the pre-show period offers no respite, as we wait in line for the mobile simulator. Time and again, we "ride" on the Metro-Floo, passing through structures resembling movie chimneys with green smoke effects.

And some fans are weeping with emotion at the Ministry Atrium: it has more than 125,000 tiles, the restored statue of the Magical Brothers Fountain, the enchanted ceiling, and a moving banner announcing Umbridge's trial for her crimes.
Reception booths, the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, and countless other fascinating details are gradually revealed, making the wait more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is Dolores's extravagant pink-hued office, with its magical frieze, carved columns, and her house elf, Higgledy.

The Chronos portal already announced it in the Epic entry: “Behind this door, find green gardens and epic worlds to fill your dreams / You wonder which path to follow, the answer is in your heart.”
