“A decade ago, before my breakout success, everyone told me I was obsessed with YouTube and would never make it. Despite that, I was passionate about creating content and worked my butt off for seven years before anyone started watching my videos. I literally told my mom I’d rather live like a homeless person than do anything else. The greatest gift in life is waking up every day with a purpose, and thanks to YouTube and you guys, I have that. Thanks for the 400 million! ” MrBeast has over 84.6 billion views on his main channel, where he’s posted 875 videos . The most recent, starring alongside Brazilian soccer player Neymar da Silva, is part of a high-impact strategy that combines extreme entertainment, million-dollar challenges, and a touch of philanthropy. Donaldson is recognized for his videos in which he submits himself to extreme situations, such as spending 50 hours buried in a coffin, and for mega-productions such as the recreation of all the challenges from the Squid Game series, his most-watched video, with more than 802 million views.

One of his most talked-about videos showed how he paid for cataract surgeries so that 1,000 blind people could regain their sight.
In addition to his YouTube success, Donaldson has built a veritable empire. He has his own $10 million studio in North Carolina and has launched his own food and beverage brands. In February 2024, he revealed to Time magazine that his channel generates between $600 and $700 million annually from advertising revenue and brand deals. He stated that they reinvest all of this back into their production company to continue expanding their reach. As a public figure, he has not been exempt from controversy. The most recent occurred with the Mexican Ministry of Culture, after recording one of his videos inside a Mayan temple without the proper permits. Despite the setbacks, MrBeast is consolidating his position as a global digital entertainment phenomenon, combining spectacle, social impact, and business vision like few others of his generation.EFE
