The Spanish hotel with "the worst breakfast in Europe," according to the Daily Mail.

The UK media tend to pay close attention to the Spanish tourism market, frequently reporting on its hotel infrastructure.
This Saturday, the Daily Mail published an article about what it calls the "worst" hotel breakfast in Europe . And that's in Spain, specifically Madrid.
This London newspaper based its report on opinions from users of TripAdvisor, the leading online tourist attraction rating tool.
This is the Hotel Atlántico, located right on Gran Vía. "The rooms are nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, that's about it ," says one reviewer. "The breakfast is the worst I've had in all of Europe. Don't eat it," says another.
"My only complaint is the poor quality of the breakfast experience; self-service coffee , soggy ham slices, tasteless plastic cheese slices and slightly stale bread one morning," reads another TripAdvisor review picked up by the Daily Mail .
Other "disappointing" reviews highlighted the "limited variety" at breakfast and its "strange layout." More diplomatic TripAdvisor users suggest skipping breakfast altogether.
Instead, they recommend eating at one of the many cafes available just a stone's throw from the hotel on Madrid's always-busy Gran Vía.
