Robbie Williams is performing tonight at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam. He also thrilled the stadium yesterday, but this weekend he did even more. He caused a big surprise for a number of people in the capital.
If Amsterdam hadn't had enough hustle and bustle on Saturday with the celebration of the 750th anniversary on the A10 motorway , the party simply continued on Sunday. But then at a place where it happens more often: the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Robbie Williams came by again with mainly a long series of hits. Davina Michelle was the opening act, something she has done more often with the 51-year-old British singer. Only now the two also sang a song together during the Williams show, Relight My Fire .
Robbie Williams was already in Amsterdam on Saturday. He decided to go for a nice walk, while 200,000 people were dancing on the A10 that day. He did that with his wife Ayda Field. "What's the plan, Williams?", she asked her husband. Robbie Williams: "Well, the plan is to point the camera at me. I'm going to ask people if they want to take a picture with me." Field: "And I'm going to film that?"
Speaking of being in the picture, check out this Canadian at last night's concert.

If you watch the video above, it's almost funny (or special) to see that there is not a single look of recognition from some walkers in the center of Amsterdam. Although he is still popular with many, he should not have tried this selfie idea in his Take That days (although the selfie phenomenon did not exist back then). Robbie Williams is also getting a bit older of course...
Asking to have his picture taken with someone is not new to the artist . He previously asked Dutch footballer Ruud van Nistelrooy, as a thank you for all the goals he scored during his time at Manchester United.
Storyline: I am f*cking #robbiewilliams , I am the King Of Entertainment. I've had my mental issues, but I did it my f*cking way. I'm loving #angels instead! pic.twitter.com/dibdOKhD3J
