Taylor Swift Wears Tight Red T-Shirt and Black Leather Miniskirt in New Album Interview

On Saturday, Taylor Swift appeared in a promo clip for her album The Life of a Showgirl, posted by Taylor Nation on Instagram. For the interview, Swift wore a form-fitting red T-shirt from Reformation, their Cashmere Short Sleeve Crew cut. She paired it with a Versace Black Medusa leather miniskirt and accessorized with a pair of black thick-soled shoes from Malone Souliers over black socks.

The star was also wearing a diamond pendant by FoundRae and a gold Versace Hera Watch with a black band, as well as dangling gold earrings. Swift wore her hair in a loose updo with her bangs styled in curls over her forehead. For makeup, she had on dark mascara and a warm red lip.

In the clip, Swift explained that her photoshoot for her upcoming album with Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott was “so extraordinary” and she was “so happy with it.”

“I just wanted the fans to have as many images from this sort of world, this album era, as possible,” Swift continued. “And so I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and the best packaging and the best CD experience that they could have.”

She added, “The CDs all have photo cards in them. The vinyls, they each have a poem inside of them, a unique poem. They’ve got more images than we ever planned to put in there.”

A number of the special editions have already sold out as they’ve been released on Swift’s official site.

“We chose this really high-gloss finish which I’ve never done before, and I think it looks so cool,” the singer added of the various editions. “We wanted this album to feel really luxurious and kind of as a nod to the luxury that a showgirl puts on when she’s on stage.”

She concluded, “It’s all just something I’m really proud of, It took a lot of time to put together, a lot of concentration, a lot of organization, but hopefully it pays off. I hope the fans are happy.”
