She flagrantly broke the law by overtaking at an intersection and pedestrian crossing. She suffered severe consequences.

During a Wednesday road check in Milicz, conducted on July 23 by Trzebnica police officers on National Highway 15, a flagrant violation of the regulations occurred. Officers stopped a 45-year-old woman from our district who had demonstrated exceptional recklessness behind the wheel of a Mazda.

A police camera captured a dangerous maneuver. A woman overtook another car in a prohibited area, and not just any area. The maneuver occurred at an intersection and on a pedestrian crossing—precisely where such behavior poses a particular risk to other road users.

The irresponsible driving didn't go unpunished. Police issued the driver a hefty fine of 2,500 PLN. She also received 25 penalty points. This is enough to result in the loss of a driver's license if held for less than a year. If held for longer, the license will be revoked. A psychological assessment and a re-education course will be required.
