A race against time before the first bell and the General Maczek Bridge

The session began with a report on work carried out during the intersession period. Mayor Mieczysław Piziurny reported on the progress of numerous municipal investments. One of the most important is the current reconstruction of the nursery, which is scheduled to begin on September 1st.
[middle1]"The premises have already been inspected and a director has been hired, so we can say the nursery is ready to accommodate twenty children. Agreements with parents will be signed soon," announced Mayor Mieczysław Piziurny.
The monthly fee for a child at the Municipal Nursery in Radymno was set at PLN 1,500 during the previous session. The mayor also reported on the progress of the ongoing renovation of the municipal nursery. Currently, the building is being adapted to comply with fire safety regulations and those specifying the rules for organizing childcare for preschool children, which has required significant structural modifications.
"Currently, work is also underway that is already producing a visual effect: tiles are being laid in the bathrooms and kitchen, and essentially, the race against time has begun to open the kindergarten on September 1st," he said, emphasizing that this isn't the end of the renovation, but only a portion of it that could be completed during the summer break and for which funding had been secured. Work will continue during the next summer break.
M. Piziurny also reported on the progress made in modernizing road infrastructure on the following streets: Cicha, Okrzei, Gruszki, Zielona, and Zarzecze. Regarding the reconstruction of the water main, the city is nearing completion.
Failure of the application submitted for photovoltaicsAt the request of Councillor Marek Jackowski, the mayor also provided information on the photovoltaic and energy storage program, which offers the possibility of subsidizing these installations.
"Unfortunately, our application did not receive funding. The company that prepared it states that all audits performed as part of the project will likely be used in future applications. Therefore, residents who incurred financial expenses can hope that the audits will be valid when applying for funding in the future."
Councilors also introduced corrections to the city budget, increasing expenditure on municipal public roads by PLN 91,957.38 and those earmarked for culture by PLN 30,000 (this refers to a subsidy for the Municipal Cultural Center awarded for carrying out statutory tasks).
