Current deposits are growing rapidly. Customers are losing, banks are gaining
The total value of customer deposits accumulated in banks at the end of March this year has already reached PLN 1.94 trillion, which means a year-on-year increase of approx. 8.3% - according to the latest NBP data. A significantly larger part of this amount, over 67%, are so-called current deposits (PLN 1.3 trillion), and only 33% are term deposits (PLN 0.64 trillion).
