Dramatic event in Warsaw. Who strangled and robbed an elderly lady?
The services were called by relatives of an 89-year-old resident of Ochota. On Sunday morning, they found the woman without signs of life.
The apartment was ransacked. Valuables and paintings were missing. The woman was probably strangled with a pillow.
Police and prosecutors appeared on ul. ulica Księcia Trojdena. For several hours, intensive activities were carried out at the scene. Neighbors were questioned. According to one of the residents, officers were looking for information about a man dressed in black who could have been taking paintings out of the apartment on Saturday evening.
The crime shocked the entire area. The investigation was taken over by an elite office – the Department for Combating Criminal Terror and Homicide of the Warsaw Police Headquarters. The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, due to the good of the proceedings, does not provide further information about the tragic event.
