Kalina appreciated for her idea, imagination and talent

The competition participants were expected to take a creative look at the changing face of their small homelands and they clearly did not disappoint the jury, because there was no shortage of authors appreciated for their creativity and talent in this edition. Their task was to creatively present the positive effects of revitalization activities carried out in their hometowns. A total of 311 works from 39 communes of Podkarpacie were submitted to the competition. Among them was the one by Kalina Amarowicz, a student from class 3b, who competed in one of 5 age categories. Three winners were selected in each of them, rewarding the way of presenting local markets, parks, railway stations and other spaces that have gained new life thanks to successful revitalization. Kalina Amarowicz, a third-grader, took 2nd place in the category of students from classes I-III of primary schools (she was appreciated for her work "Przemyśl - my city") . The student's supervisors were teachers Aneta Demko and Marta Nowakowska.

From our region, specifically from the Jarosław district, secondary school students were also awarded: Wiktoria Stanowska for "Imagining Living History" (1st place) and Julia Magda for her work "Green Oasis - the garden of the Orsetti tenement house" (2nd place). Both represented the Complex of Road-Geodetic and Secondary Schools in Jarosław.
