Koszarowa Street will be rebuilt
Date created:
Another street in Wrocław will undergo a thorough reconstruction. This time, Koszarowa Street in Karłowice will undergo renovation. This is an important route used daily by ambulances transporting patients to the provincial hospital, as well as by students.
- We have decided to agree to announce a tender for construction works on this task. We will deal with Koszarowa Street comprehensively. The roadway will be widened from 5.5 meters to 6 meters. New bus stops with shelters and a large bay for buses will be built. The street surface will be made of bituminous mass. It will replace the damaged paving stones that generate noise - says Jacek Sutryk, the mayor of Wrocław.
A two-way bike path will be built on Koszarowa Street on the northern side, where the hospital and the University of Wrocław campus buildings are located. New sidewalks and pedestrian crossings are to be built during the investment. The underground networks, including water and sewage and power, are planned to be rebuilt. The city will also take care of the greenery during the implementation of this project. Thousands of roses in two varieties will appear on Koszarowa Street. The project also includes the construction of absorbent hummocks in some places, which will allow for the management of rainwater. Wrocławskie Inwestycje is currently preparing tender documentation for this task. The tender should be announced in March.
