More fakes in Korczowa and Malhowice

This time, officers of the Bieszczady Border Guard Division detected attempts to use a false registration certificate and Interbus book.
On Sunday, May 4, a Ukrainian bus traveling from Italy to Ukraine pulled up to the border checkpoint for leaving Poland in Korczowa. As it turned out, during an inspection of the Interbus book used for so-called occasional transport, Border Guard officers became suspicious of the authenticity of the entries. Specialist devices confirmed the forgeries – the originally entered passenger data had been deleted, and the data of other people had been entered in their place.
A few days earlier, in Malhowice, a fake registration certificate was discovered. The completely fake document for a Suzuki car was presented by a 24-year-old Ukrainian citizen. The certificate was found to have numerous security irregularities, including an incorrect printing technique.
In both cases, the drivers were questioned and their documents were seized. Border guards are conducting further actions in the cases.
