"In response to the invitation, I met today in Brussels with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Mark Rutte. We talked about cooperation within NATO. Guaranteeing security and mutual understanding of needs are the foundation of strong and responsible international relations," Karol Nawrocki wrote on social media on Tuesday.
The president-elect thanked the head of the North Atlantic Alliance for "a very good conversation about serious matters in a friendly atmosphere". Nawrocki was accompanied by Marcin Przydacz , who is responsible for foreign affairs in the Chancellery of the President. After the meeting, he emphasized at a press briefing that Nawrocki "is already starting his diplomatic activities with this visit". He added that "there will certainly be many more of them after August 6", i.e. the swearing-in as president.

Przydacz noted that the conversation lasted two hours. – During the conversation with the NATO Secretary General, statements were made about Russia as a direct threat to the security of not only Poland, not only Central Europe, but the entire Euro-Atlantic region – said the head of the international office of the Chancellery of President Nawrocki. The issue of the Bucharest Nine was also raised. Nawrocki is also to continue Andrzej Duda's activities.
