New limits on earning extra money for retirement from June. What delays the decision to switch to the benefit?

New earnings limits for pensioners and annuitants will apply in June, July and August. This is the result of the publication by the Central Statistical Office of a statement on the average salary in the first quarter of 2025. It amounted to PLN 8,962.28, which is PLN 485.07 more than in the fourth quarter of 2024 (at that time, this amount was PLN 8,477.21). This is important for some beneficiaries, because the aforementioned limits on earning extra money for ZUS payments are related to this amount.
