New obligation for ROD. Without it, you can say goodbye to your plot

• Anyone who wants to lease an allotment garden must complete mandatory training for new allotment holders.
• Every new allotment holder must attend a basic course, lasting approximately 4 hours.
• After completing the training, the allotment holder receives a certificate entitling him or her to sign a lease agreement.

Anyone who wants to lease a ROD must undergo mandatory training for new allotment holders. This requirement was introduced from 2025 to ensure safety, environmental protection and better cooperation between allotment users.

The next training is planned for the end of June. Courses will also be held during the holidays. Courses will be held, among others:

• June 28 in Gdansk
• July 3 and July 4, 2025 in Krakow
• July 10 and August 7 in Katowice
• June 24, July 29 and August 26 in Zabrze

Every new allotment holder must attend a basic course, lasting approximately 4 hours.

The training will provide information such as:

• ROD regulations - rights and obligations of the allotment holder, penalties for violations
• Legal development of the garden plot, gazebo and the surrounding area
• Safe use of plant protection products
• Correct waste segregation and composting of bio-waste
• The operation of the garden self-government, reporting problems and resolving neighbourly disputes
• Principles of protecting fauna and flora in the allotment garden

After completing the training , the allotment holder receives a certificate entitling him or her to sign a lease agreement.

The training obligation applies only to those who will become users of the plot for the first time from 2025.

Inheriting a plot of land or using it before this date does not require participation in the course .
