Among these commissions were the ones discussed in the media from Kraków and Mińsk Mazowiecki. Inspections were also ordered then, among others, in relation to two District Electoral Commissions – No. 30 and 61 – from Bielsko-Biała.
On Friday, Supreme Court spokesman Aleksander Stępkowski told PAP that the number of all election protests could reach 50,000. According to the regulations introduced in 2018, during the PiS government, the Supreme Court's Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs Chamber, established at that time, is responsible for considering election protests and determining the validity of elections, the status of which is being questioned by the current government, citing the rulings of international tribunals.
