Professor Ryszard Wilk, the creator of the Szczecin sculpture "Labyrinth," has died.

Ryszard Wilk, a prominent Szczecin sculptor and professor of architecture and art, has died. He worked at the Szczecin University of Technology for over 30 years and was a co-founder of the Higher School of Applied Arts and the Szczecin Academy of Art.

His most famous work is "The Labyrinth", a sculpture located near the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Szczecin.

He was a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists and the Association of Polish Architects. In 2024, he was awarded the Medal of Merit for the City of Szczecin.
