The end of the manhunt for the 57-year-old. Deputy minister on "success" and "spectacular action"

- It was a truly spectacular action. All possible means were used to ensure the safety of the residents of the area - said Maciej Duszczyk in "Graffiti" about the manhunt for the 57-year-old from Stara Wieś. On Tuesday, the services reported that the man was found dead. The deputy minister emphasized that the action "despite enormous difficulties" ended with "some success".

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration was asked on Wednesday by Grzegorz Kępka about the details of the search and final finding of the 57-year-old man, for whom a manhunt had been ongoing in Małopolska since Friday. The wanted man had attempted to murder his mother-in-law and killed his daughter and son-in-law. After everything, he fled from the police into the nearby forest, where he hid until Tuesday.

As Maciej Duszczyk reported on Polsat News, a police investigation is currently underway to finally determine the circumstances of the death of the 57-year-old, who was found on the road with a gunshot wound.

- I spoke yesterday evening with Senior Superintendent Marek Boroń, the Chief Commander of the Police, who gave me this information, saying that everything indicates that this manhunt was so advanced that the killer probably already knew that he would not run away, would not hide and probably made such a decision (to commit suicide - ed.) - informed Duszczyk.

- Everything indicates that this raid, police actions, the use of anti-terrorist forces, all means meant that this action, despite enormous difficulties, ended with some kind of success, because the residents are safe - he added.
