During the discharge session of the City Council in Oborniki Śląskie, councilors granted Mayor Arkadiusz Poprawa both a vote of confidence and discharge. However, there was no shortage of heated emotions and personal attacks.
On Thursday, June 12, the City Council held its discharge session in Oborniki Śląskie. After the Chairwoman of the City Council Agnieszka Zakęś presented the agenda, the Mayor of the Commune of Oborniki Śląskie, Arkadiusz Poprawa, took the floor. He presented his activities since the previous session of the City Council. In his first words, he informed that he had met with an investor who intended to build a housing estate in Morzęcin Wielki. It would be located behind the existing houses, towards the tracks. He talked to him about minimizing the inconvenience that may arise during construction.
– I cannot imagine trucks delivering materials for construction driving through the centre of the town, destroying the road. Therefore, I suggested to this investor that access should be via a dirt road running to Morzęcin from the asphalt road between Siemianice and Wilkowa – said Arkadiusz Poprawa.
