Pezet is the hero of a CANAL+ documentary

On October 31, 2025, CANAL+ premiered the documentary "Paweł z Ursynowa," dedicated to Pezet, aka Paweł Kapliński. Also on that day was the premiere of the artist's latest album, "Muzyka popularna." The aforementioned documentary is dedicated to the recording process.
Pezet's latest album features 22 tracks created in collaboration with musical guests. Nineteen music producers collaborated on the final product, "Popular Music," resulting in a diverse range of material intended to connect different styles and generations of fans. Pezet's guest artists include Mata, Kaz Bałagane, Kizo, Happysad, Hanafi, Faustyna Maciejczuk, Rene, Chivas, Louis Villian, and Michał Lange.
The album's release will be accompanied by the premiere of the documentary "Paweł z Ursynów," which will be broadcast on CANAL+. As the official production description states, it will be an intimate, archival portrait of the artist in 2025, a man who changes style with each album, like his own.
The camera follows the creation of "Muzyka Popularna" —from the first sketches, through production and lyrical choices, to the album's cohesive visual language. The film answers questions fans have been asking for years: where do Pezet's inspirations come from and how has his sound evolved? What does "commercial music" mean to him? Does the artist feel mainstream, and how does he reconcile artistic tracks with radio hits?
"2025 is a very important moment in my career. After 25 years on stage, I'm releasing my seventh solo album. I never would have thought I'd be in this position, sitting in the judge's chair on a rap talent show, or that my biggest commercial success would come from TikTok. This film shows who I am today, how my views have changed over the years, and why I reinvent myself with each album," says Pezet.
Adriana Sławińska, Programming Director for Film and Series at CANAL+, promises that "Paweł z Ursynów" will be a unique experience not only for fans of the artist, but also for all who appreciate authenticity in music. She also announces that C+ is already planning further musical projects.
