On Wednesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. in Ogrody Śródmieście on Wielkopolska Street, the inter-university student song contest "Student Voice Challenge" will be held for the first time in Szczecin.

The stage will feature singing students from four public universities in Szczecin – the Maritime University of Technology, the Pomeranian Medical University and the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, as well as non-competitive vocalists from the Academy of Art. In total, we will hear a dozen or so participants. The jury will consist of representatives from all public universities in Szczecin. The main prize is PLN 1,500.

As the event organizers emphasize, students are not only future specialists in their fields, but also people full of energy, creativity and courage to show the world their talents.

The competition is organised by the Foundation for the Development of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, which is involved in initiatives promoting student activity, supporting both scientific and cultural undertakings.

The Inter-University Vocal Battles "Student Voice Challenge" is an initiative of Szczecin's public universities, vice-rectors for student affairs and student government parliaments, with the involvement of the Szczecin academic community.

– Together we show that strength lies in cooperation, and that music and passion can connect different universities and fields of study in one unique event – say the organizers.
