While luxury fashion houses are working tirelessly to make their unique winter collections go viral, Aldi is offering a design that meets consumer expectations. The supermarket chain has unveiled a jacket that not only provides adequate warmth in the autumn chill, but also draws attention with its surreal design.
Time for a powerful statement: Fall and winter should be outlawed! Are the other cold-blooded people with me!? I don't think so...
Supermarket chain Aldi decided to conduct a survey and ask Britons about their autumn weather. The survey revealed that 82 percent of Britons are looking forward to the arrival of autumn, and 61 percent consider autumn their favorite season. On the other hand, a whopping 85 percent of respondents cited—of course!—the cold as the worst part of autumn.
Aldi clearly wants to address this in an original way, also referencing the aforementioned survey. Since 40 percent of respondents noted that October is the beginning of baked potato season, the chain's marketing experts came up with a brilliant idea. A potato jacket?
