The topic was raised during the parliamentary subcommittee on social affairs in the army by MP Andrzej T. Zapałowski ( Confederation ). He approached the commander of the Territorial Defense Forces with a proposal to conduct "an experiment in one of the OT brigades in the form of issuing service personal weapons to soldiers who have private weapons permits and have such weapons at their place of residence."
