Danielle Collins will be performing for the last time! She just announced it.

The American caused a lot of trouble last season, including with Iga Świątek during the Olympics, when she called the Polish player a fake. Collins is known for her controversial behavior, but this year is definitely not hers.

Her best result this season is reaching the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Strasbourg. However, the American has mostly been eliminated in the early stages of the tournament. This has led to a significant drop in the WTA rankings, from 11th to 57th.

Collins is currently preparing for the last Grand Slam tournament of the year, the US Open. However, as she announced on Instagram, it will be her last tournament of the season.

"I'm recovering. I'm going to New York soon for my last party of the year," she wrote on social media.

Collins has been having a rough patch since Wimbledon, where she lost in the third round. She played in three tournaments in Washington, Montreal, and Cincinnati, winning just one match.
