Football. Fleet with the Polish Voivodeship Cup!

On Wednesday, June 4, the final of the Polish Football Cup at the level of the West Pomeranian Football Association took place, in which the local FASE Szczecin lost to the third-league Flota Świnoujście 0:1, and the match was played at Kresowa Street.

The main referee of the match was Karol Arys, assisted on the line by: Marek Arys and Marcin Janawa. The technical referee was Marcin Boratyński.
In the first 20 minutes, not much happened on the pitch, and both teams were cautious in their actions. It is worth noting a shot from outside the penalty area by the home team player Oliwier Szkamelski. In the 26th minute, after passing the ball into the penalty area, Flota player Michał Graczyk was close to scoring an own goal. A moment later, FASE player Wojciech Klimkiewicz took a shot in the penalty area, but the ball flew wide of the post. Later, Flota took the lead, and Adam Trzaskowski shot inaccurately from a distance. In the 37th minute, Dmytro Yefimenko headed the ball, but he missed the goal. In the 41st minute, the scoring opened, and after a corner kick, Maciej Badowski proved to be the most cunning in the penalty area, beating Hubert Siniecki from two meters.
It seemed that after the break, the Szczecin team would attack their opponent and look for an equalizer, but nothing like that happened, and the visitors were in control. At the beginning of the second half, Yefimenko shot in the penalty area. In the 50th minute, Kacper Żmudź shot from outside the penalty area. In the 66th minute, Jakub Maszka shot, but it went straight into the middle of the goal. In the 74th minute, Yefimenko headed again, but it went wide of the goalpost. In the last quarter of an hour, FASE finally threatened the visitors' goal. In the 81st minute, Maksymilian Morawiak played the ball along the penalty area and it was dangerous, but eventually the ball was caught by Flota's goalkeeper - Dariusz Krzysztofek. In the 83rd minute, the home team had the best chance of the match. Szymon Moraczewski broke away from Flota's defenders, but with only the goalkeeper in front of him, he hit him straight. Towards the end of the match, Yefimenko was still looking for his goal without success and the result did not change.
In the 2024/2025 season, Flota Świnoujście is the deserving winner of the Polish Cup of the Polish Football Association and will play in the Polish Cup at the central level. ©℗ (PR)
