Football. Pogoń's draw and away problems in Nieciecza

Pogoń failed to replicate the impressive performance from their last match against Motor in Nieciecza. The Port team struggled away from home again, managing only two shots on target in the match, only managing a draw against the newcomers to the top flight.
Bruk Bet Termalica Nieciecza - Pogoń Szczecin 1:1 (1:0); 1:0 Kasperkiewicz (19), 1:1 Grosicki (69)
Termalica: Mleczko - Isik, Kopacz, Kasperkiewicz, Boboc (82. Masoero) - Kubica, Ambrosiewicz, Wolski (69. Hilbrych) - Trubeha (65. Kurzawa), Faßbender (82. Deisadze), Jimenez (65. Strzałek)
Chase: Kamiński - Koutris (46. Borges), Huja, Loncar (77. Keramitsis), Wahlqvist (68. Lis) - Ulvestad, Pozo, Przyborek (46. Ndiaye) - Mukairu, Grosicki, Paryzek (46. Juwara).
The Port team went into the match against Termalica without two key players. Last season's top scorer, Koulouris, and starting goalkeeper Pogoń, Cojocaru, were missing. Minor injuries prevented both players from playing. The absence of the Greek and Romanian forced coach Kolendowicz to make significant changes to his lineup. Kamiński started between the posts, making it his first league appearance for Pogoń and his return to the top flight after a 20-month break. Paryzek replaced the Greek supersniper in attack, marking the third time the 19-year-old has been a starter for the Port team. Both substitutes will not be counting their performances in Nieciecza as successful. Kamiński made embarrassing errors, while Paryzek showed nothing remarkable and was dropped to the bench after 45 minutes.
In the first half, Pogoń had great difficulty forcing the newly promoted team's defense. The home team's pressing made it difficult for the Port team to build any attacking chances. Furthermore, they lacked precision. The home team played without respect for the Polish Cup finalist. Jimenez had a chance to give Termalica the lead. He found himself alone with Kamiński, lofted the ball over him, and only a slide from Huja saved Pogoń from conceding. The newly promoted team took the lead moments later. After a corner kick, Kasperkiewicz headed the ball into the net amidst chaos in the penalty area. The Pogoń goalkeeper's performance was disastrous, and the defenders also showed no signs of alertness. Mukairu was Pogoń's bright spot in the first half. It was the Port team's new signing who initiated the attack, which resulted in Pozo shooting dangerously but wide. Kamiński made another mistake before the break. His pass to Przyborek near the penalty area was intercepted by Wolski, but it had no consequences for Pogoń, as the Szczecin goalkeeper redeemed himself with a good save.
Pogoń's incompetence in the first 45 minutes, which saw Pogoń fail to register a shot on target, forced coach Kolendowicz to make three substitutions at halftime. Koutris replaced Borges, the invisible Przyborek Ndiaye, and Paryzk Juwara. The latter's arrival, in particular, gave Pogoń a real boost. Juwara livened up the game, harassing the opposition defense with his shots and crosses. First, his shot sailed just over the crossbar, and then he beat the goalkeeper with a stunning volley. After a VAR review, the referee disallowed the goal because Huja had handled the ball earlier in the game. Mukairu came close to scoring for Pogoń, driving into the penalty area, but Kasperkiewicz knocked the ball out from under him. In the decisive moment, the hosts were defending, but they were unable to stop Ulvestad's attack. The Norwegian outplayed the defenders, passed the ball to Grosicki, and the Pogoń captain slotted the ball into the net with a precise shot. Pogoń pushed for the winning goal until the final whistle. Ndiaye and Lis could have decided the score, but their headers went wide. The hosts also had their chances in the second half, but first, former Pogoń player Kurzawa missed, and then Kubica failed to capitalize on another mistake by Kamiński. (voivodeship)

Well done Alex

Alex: You can play games on the pitch or with your kids. Koulouris isn't for sale. Not this year. He has one year left on his contract with Pogoń Szczecin and he'll fulfill it. But let's be clear: No agent, player, or club will pressure me. I don't need the money, and I won't be intimidated into signing a deal that doesn't benefit Pogoń Szczecin. And if Koulouris continues to miss matches due to injury, every club—including ours—will have to reassess his value.

Series

There's an offer for Kulu for €2.8 million. Kulu wants to leave. But Alex wants over €4.5 million. We're at an impasse, and Kulu has started having back problems. He couldn't play today. Another series begins for Pogoń...

What will Alex do?

Alex, you see what's going on and don't be so harsh. If you don't stop this, we'll be stuck for good. In July, teams playing in Europe were supposedly dropping points. And Pogoń is dropping points. Next week, they have a match against Arka Gdynia. Bet? Kulu won't even negotiate a contract offer from Alex. He wants to leave for a better league. Who will replace him?

Without Kulu, also the Romanian goalkeeper...Pogoń looks weak. How much Grosik means to Pogoń...it's plain to see. Without Kulu and the Romanian goalkeeper, it's a disaster. What about Kulu?... Mr. President, please do everything...if possible, of course...to get Kulu playing for Pogoń...Best regards...

Kolendowicz's mistake

Pogoń's first half was hopeless, but the second was decent. Playing off Paryzek and Przyborek at halftime was sabotage by coach Kolendowicz. Juwara is several levels above. Pogoń's academy "graduates" aren't fit to play in the Ekstraklasa. I don't understand Kolendowicz. He put weaker players into the squad. Was this done with Alex and Tan's consent to promote the youth? More points lost. They'll be gone in May.

If in Szczecin or the surrounding area there is a dream that Pogoń will win the league or the Polish Cup, let the days go by and they will not wake up. I have written and will continue to write, great hopes, slim chances, trips to Poznań, Warsaw, defeat after defeat, and the first one will be next week in Gdynia.

Kwiatkowski again

Two seasons ago, referee Kwiatkowski didn't award a penalty to Pogoń in Zabrze. He later admitted the error, and Pogoń lost third place at the end of the season. In the Polish Cup final, in stoppage time, a free kick was awarded, and a Wisła player moved the ball 15 meters. It was a wrong goal, and Kwiatkowski allowed it. And today, only Kwiatkowski, at Vara, saw the hand and disallowed Pogoń's goal. Canal+ didn't show a single replay. If it had been Legia, there would have been 15 replays.
