Formula 1 fans will be able to enter the track! Official announcement

The organizers of the first round of the Formula 1 World Championship season, the Australian Grand Prix, announced that they had lifted the ban on motorsport fans entering the Albert Park circuit after the race. "This is a return to a long-standing tradition," they wrote in an official statement.
The decision to ban fans from the Australian circuit after the end of the race was made after the 2023 event when a crowd invaded the track and approached the damaged Haas car driven by German Nico Huelkenberg.

Now, however, the organisers have announced that the "track walk" has returned after obtaining permission from the authorities.
"It's a unique and valuable experience for our fans and we're very excited to be able to bring it back this year," Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO Travis Auld said on Wednesday.
The organizers added, however, that they will introduce several new solutions to ensure the safety of the visit to the track during the inauguration of this year's F1 season - March 16. These will include specially built gates to increase safety.
Australian GP organisers have announced that a record crowd of 452,055 attended the four-day racing spectacle of the 2024 Australian Grand Prix.
