Huge problems for Włókniarz Częstochowa!? It's about their leader.

This season is definitely not going the way all Częstochowa fans hoped. Włókniarz, plagued by injuries, will be fighting to stay in the playoffs.

As a reminder, playoffs are returning to the competition this season. So even if Mariusz Staszewski's side potentially win the seventh-place match, they still won't be certain of anything.

One of the leaders of the popular Lions this season is Jason Doyle. A lot could depend on the Australian in this crucial phase, and his recent form hasn't been impressive.

Last Sunday at the FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Riga he finished a distant eleventh.

He didn't fare any better on Monday in the British Isles. The 39-year-old scored just five points and two bonus points in five starts for Ipswich Witches! And he's partly to blame for the team failing to secure a victory in Manchester. Ultimately, they drew away to Belle Vue Aces.

The Australian's poor form is undoubtedly a cause for concern for all fans in Częstochowa. The Włókniarz team is about to play their most important matches of the year, and the leader hasn't been impressive in form.

The Premiership has seen a resounding comeback. Nick Morris has returned to action after a suspension. He's a well-known name for fans of both the English and Polish leagues.

The Australian has previously raced for clubs such as ROW Rybnik and Sparta Wrocław.

Morris put in a fantastic performance on Monday evening. He scored six points and three bonus points in four starts, as his Sheffield Tigers comfortably defeated the Birmingham Brummies 59-31 away from home.
