PGE Ekstraliga table. New leader. GKM can forget about one thing
The 6th round of PGE Ekstraliga began on Friday. In the first match, Innpro ROW Rybnik lost at home 40:50 to Betard Sparta Wrocław.
Late in the evening, Pres Toruń defeated Bayersystem GKM Grudziądz 52:38 on their own track. The round will be completed on Sunday. In Gorzów, Gezet Stal will host Orlen Oil Motor Lublin, and in Częstochowa, Krono-Plast Włókniarz Stelmet Falubaz Zielona Góra.
After Friday's matches, Pres Toruń became the new leader in the PGE Ekstraliga table. The win against GKM confirms that we have a strong trio in the competition in the form of teams from Toruń, Lublin, Wrocław and others. After a clear defeat in Toruń, the Grudziądz team must be satisfied with the fact that fourth place is absolutely too high a threshold for them.
Let us remind you that after playing 14 rounds of the regular round, teams from places 1-4 will go to the play-offs, and 5-8 to the play-downs.
