The 50-meter water rescue is quite simple to understand. After swimming 25 meters, competitors must dive underwater and retrieve a dummy from the bottom of the pool. They must then tow it to the finish line. Of course, whoever reaches the pool wall first wins.
This is the second medal for the Polish national team at the 12th World Games. Sixty-four Polish athletes will compete in air sports (drone racing), billiards, kayaking, dance sports, kickboxing, korfball, water rescue, Muay Thai, orienteering, motorboating, powerlifting, sport climbing, squash, underwater sports, water skiing, and wakeboarding.
In the last edition of the event (Birmingham 2022), Poles won 15 medals - three gold, five silver and seven bronze.
The final day of the 12th World Games is scheduled for August 17.
