Polish volleyball players have returned to Poland! A special welcome for the Nations League winners
The Polish national volleyball team triumphed in this year's Nations League. The gold medalist team returned to Poland on Monday evening, landing at Warsaw's Okęcie Airport after 10:00 PM.
Polish volleyball players won this year's Nations League in stunning fashion. During the final tournament, held in Ningbo, China, they gave their opponents no chance. They defeated Japan 3-0 in the quarterfinals, Brazil 3-0 in the semifinals, and in the grand final, they defeated Italy, again without dropping a set.

In addition to their team success, the Polish volleyball players also received recognition for their individual performances. The VNL 2025 "dream team" included Wilfredo Leon, Kewin Sasak, and Jakub Kochanowski. The center was named the best player of this year's edition of the Volleyball Nations League.
After such a brilliant performance, Polish fans eagerly awaited the gold medalists' return home. Coach Nikola Grbić's team landed at Warsaw's Okęcie Airport after 10 p.m. on Monday. Crowds of fans and journalists awaited Wilfredo Leon and company.
A press conference was then held, attended by Polish volleyball players and invited guests, including the Minister of Sport and Tourism, Jakub Rutnicki.
