The president of the volleyball association has been elected! He won 96 percent of the votes

Giuseppe Manfredi has been elected president of the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) for the years 2025-2028. The current head of the national association received as much as 96.8 percent of possible votes for his candidacy.
Giuseppe Manfredi was chosen by a group of activists who cast a total of 146,153 votes for the winning candidate. This in turn gave as much as 96.8 percent support for the current president. The elections took place during the assembly of the Italian federation's authorities in Palacongressi in Rimini.
The meeting in Rimini was also attended by representatives of the international volleyball authorities - FIVB President Fabio Azevedo and CEV Managing Director Vuk Karanovic.

Manfredi will also be joined by two vice-presidents: Massimo Sala (135,055 votes) and Elio Sita (109,196).
Next year, Italy will host the European Volleyball Championships. Along with the country from the Apennine Peninsula, Bulgaria, Finland and Romania will also be organizing the competition.
