Germans Discover the Beauty of Poland. These Seaside Villages Delighted Them

When you are on holiday in Świnoujście, you immediately get the impression that it is a paradise for tourists from Germany. You see them there so often that even the menus in restaurants and bars are written in two languages, and the prices are given in euros. If you thought that only this resort fascinates our western neighbours, you are wrong. It turns out that other smaller towns are also appreciated.
Germans delighted with Polish resortsPolish resorts have been brought to the attention of German journalists from the portal wmn.de. This time, they were delighted with Dźwirzyn and Dziwnów. They believe that these are cities that are definitely worth visiting, although they are not the largest or as popular as Kołobrzeg or Międzyzdroje . In their opinion, the hidden gems by the Polish seaside are peaceful, yet full of attractions.
"They remain pristine, quiet, and surprisingly undiscovered. Here are two of those hidden gems," we read on the aforementioned website.
German journalists draw attention, among other things, to what is important for tourists from their country. They are able to be enchanted by places that give them numerous opportunities for recreation and exceptional views. Location also matters, i.e. that a given smaller city is located close to another larger one. This is the case, for example, in Dźwirzyno - it is only 13.8 km. It has long been known that for German tourists in Poland it is also simply cheaper. At the same time, you can count on good quality service and a wide selection of restaurants.
Dźwirzyno and Dziwnów on the Germans' tonguesWhat do the two cities have in common? When it comes to Dziwnów, Germans consider it a combination of a fishing village, port and resort. What they loved most was the atmosphere there, devoid of mass tourism, restaurants, ice cream parlors and bike paths.
When it comes to Dźwirzyno, it is appreciated for its peace, which is lacking in the larger nearby Kołobrzeg . At the same time, this town is also considered to be completely different from Dziwnów. "Despite its proximity to one of the most frequently visited seaside resorts in Poland, it has retained its peace and authenticity," journalists report. Here, the views and a wide selection of recreational activities were most appreciated.
