The Pole played with Snoop Dogg at the BET Awards 2025. He is a well-known artist

Did you watch the 2025 BET Awards? You might have noticed a familiar face during Snoop Dogg's performance. The musical setting was provided by an orchestra conducted by Radzimir Dębski himself, aka Jimek.
This year's BET Awards 2025 gala is behind us, and took place on June 9 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles .
Prestigious awards given annually since 2001 to honor black artists and cultural creators for their achievements in fields such as music , film and television , sports , art and social activism .
Since 2015, the jury has also been awarding the Ultimate Icon , an award for artists with a legendary position in culture. This year, Mariah Carey , Jamie Foxx , Kirk Franklin , and rapper Snoop Dogg received this honor.
Snoop 's award was of course a great excuse for a short performance. And since the occasion was special, the performance had to be memorable.
Jimek and Snoop Dogg together on stageThe artist appeared on stage with an orchestra, with which he performed a cross-sectional set consisting of fragments of the songs "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang" , "The Next Episode" , "Down 4 My N's ", "Ain't No Fun" and the classic with a capital "G", the song "Gin and Juice" .
Poles watching the gala could rub their eyes with surprise when they saw on TV that the orchestra was conducted by none other than Radzimir Dębski , or Jimek .

Jimek 's appearance at the 2025 BET Awards cannot be considered a lucky coincidence. Radzimir has been working on it for many years. The musician is of course the son of composer Krzesimir Dębski and singer Anna Jurksztowicz , but he has been building his exciting career for a long time. In 2012, he was the winner of the "End of Time" remix competition organized by Beyoncé .
Jimek and his mix of rap and classical musicBefore he performed with Snoop Dogg , Jimek was known for combining rap with classical music at stadiums and gigantic open-air concerts in our country.
Let us recall the instrumental mix of foreign rap classics, played during a concert with Miuosh and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice , which went viral literally all over the world.
- "History of Polish Hip-Hop" was great entertainment and a perfect 3-hour celebration of Polish chanting, and for some also a small music lesson. Hip-hop listeners are most often accustomed to the rappers + DJ set. The biggest variety is a small live band accompanying. And here? A 70-person orchestra presenting a whole range of sounds. I came across a comment online: "Thank you. I didn't know that live music could sound like this" - I wrote after Jimek's concert with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and over 30 rappers at the Silesian Stadium in 2023.
Music knows no boundaries, and Jimek has consistently shown that for years. I'm rooting for a world tour!
